Journeys in Tallis

Our memories

We all have a lot of memories from Tallis. Here, we will be telling you one of our favourite memories.

Tara:
My favourite memory at Tallis was when everyone in the year used to hang around with each other. We used to always go to the fields and jump over the log things and just have so much fun. Everyone used to get along in a care-free environment, and we all enjoyed our time there. I wish that things could go back to how they were!

Kayleigh:
I have a lot of memories at/from Tallis. It's hard to pick an exact favourite, because there are literally too many to choose from. I would have to say that going to Tyn y Berth (Wales) in Year 7 and going to Ravensburg (Germany) in Year 8 are two of my best memories. They were great experiences for me and have taught me a lot of lessons in life. Also, inside of school, I would say that lunch times have given me many good memories for me to keep and treasure. I think I am really lucky to be here and I am grateful that the school has provided me with these memories and has given me a good place to grow up in.

Helaina: I have a few memories but they are not very good ones (because I'm in Year 7). One of the memories I already have is Sports Day. It was a really fun day and I competed in 300m and 1500m. I came 3rd in the 300m and 6th in the 1500m. My tutor group came last but I still really enjoyed the day, and I look forward to the ones in Year 8, 9, and 10.

Kirsty: I have quite a few memories already in Tallis. The latest and most enjoyable one was on Monday 18th July 2011. On this day, we went to Greenwich Picture House and saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 - then we went to Greenwich Park and walked around. This took up a whole school day off timetable and everyone who went enjoyed it.
